The article explores the management tools for ensuring business continuity as a key element in adapting enterprises to changing conditions. The purpose of the study is to systematize threats, analyze management decisions, and develop recommendations for the effective maintenance of business continuity under conditions of instability. The research methodology is based on the analysis of scientific sources and the systematization of typical problems to develop tools for overcoming crisis situations. The difference between the concepts of “business resilience” and “business continuity” is analyzed, and the relevance of implementing effective business continuity measures is highlighted. Problems arising in the process of maintaining operational stability and the analysis of corresponding management decisions are systematized.
The study considers both strategic and operational tasks in managing business continuity. Key challenges to business continuity are identified, including limited resources, resistance to change, lack of individualized staff motivation mechanisms, absence of transparent reporting, and insufficient risk control. To address these challenges, appropriate management tools are proposed to enhance business resilience, including implementation of training programs, risk assessment, scenario planning, and development of business cases involving company leadership. The results include the classification of key threats as well as the identification of strategic and operational management tasks. The scope of application covers enterprises operating in dynamic environments, particularly under conditions of military aggression and economic instability. The conclusions emphasize the necessity of integrating comprehensive management measures to strengthen business resilience, enable rapid response to external challenges, and ensure sustainable operation in crisis conditions.
